5-18, Perfect Weather, Perfect Day

  So since we got here, today was the first day that the weather was perfect out.  We woke up around 9am (and stayed up this time) and did a little laundry.  Everything is air dried here so we had to hang it on the line.  Also, they don't have AC here, they just open windows, which really when you come down to it, you really don't need AC. 
                                     


Well this can't be good.

 We took off around 1pm to pay a parking ticket Jon got (grrr) and then we had lunch with our cousin Pawel again (he is so funny, even though I have no idea what he is saying, everyone is always laughing).  We walked around the town square again which is always fun because you can people watch here (and the Polish are fun to watch)  We stayed here for a few hours and then headed over to one of Gregor's motorcycle shops.

     Now according to Pawel, they were going to remodel town hall (not sure how long ago it was).  Anyways, they began to tear things apart and when they were tearing up the floor and dirt, look what they found under it!  A very deep well!  So, since this was part of their history, the decided not to remodel the town hall for they didn't want to destroy the well. So they put some unbreakable glass on it and now it is on display. Cool huh!
     After we left the town square we headed over to one of Gregor's shops.  Too bad he doesn't live here in the states, I would know exactly who to get my quad from when we get one.  He has 3 shops here in town and he is the "go to" guy in western Poland with regards to bikes.  He sells and rents all kinds.  We saw some mopeds, rocket's like Chris's, some Rhino's, Honda's, Harley's, you name it!  According to Jon, he pretty much brought choppers to this side of Poland :)

   Finally as the day drew to a close, Jon, Chris, Connor, Gregor and his son Tytus all went for a nice walk up to a restaraunt a few miles from their house. It was a really nice walk thru some fields (we saw some deer!)  We had a nice dinner, Connor got his first ride in a swing and we got some cute pics of the fam!

  So Connor was playing around on the floor while Jon and I were playing cards.  He started to get cranky and we knew it was time for him to go to bed. We were going to put him to bed after we had finished the had we had. Once we finished, I got up to check on him and he had crawled to his bed and fell asleep right here.  He just couldn't make it in farther :)
