May 19th

     I'm so tired that I hope I make it thru this post :)  Its hard for Jon, Chris and I to plan anything during the week since everyone is working and we are not sure where to go.  We changed that today, Jon and I have decided we are going to get a map and find places to go, starting tomorrow.  Today we started off the morning with a nice walk to a meteor crater that is right behind Gregors house.  It was probably a good mile walk (they do ALOT of walking here) we were fine on the road but then we had to go thru some fields and that is where it got a bit crazy.  We had to take Connor out of the stroller for the terrian was pretty rough.  Also, Poland I guess doesn't like visitors for they have this poisonous plant that burns you if you touch it. Now its not "burning my flesh" off but it does make welts on your legs and continues to burn through out the day, just so you don't forget you were here. Benadryl cream works great on it.  Anyways, we walked up and there was a good size crater in the ground, I think Gregor said this happened 70 or 80 years ago and Jon seems to think it was the size of a softball, which would make sense for the size hole it left.

     Today we also got to see (and meet) Uncle Piotr (Peter) who is Andrew's other brother.  He is leaving town today for his daughter is set to have a baby in a few days in Warsaw.  It was very nice to meet him as well and you can that Andrew, Peter and Cesar are all related because they look similar and have the same smile.  Of course he fell in love with Connor right away!  As did Connor of course.

   After we met with them we went back home for Connor to take a little nap (well mommy and daddy napped too) and then we headed out with Pawel and Tomek for another hike.  This one was really pretty but it was also long and got a bit steep at times.  Still none the less was beautiful!

      Well the baby is asleep, thunderstorms are rolling in and this mommy is tired.  We are supposed to go to a castle tomorrow but its pretty much outside so who knows what the weather will be like tomorrow :)
